My post is about a week late, but I was able to participate in National Grilled Cheese Day! Although grilled cheese should be celebrated all year round, April 12th is the official gooey holiday. I must admit this day caught me off guard as I wasn’t quite prepared for it. When the news hit me, I was on my ride home from work. I was exhausted and couldn’t muster up enough energy to stop at the market and shop for the ultimate grilled cheese masterpiece. Instead I had to get creative and work with what I already had in the fridge. So this week’s post features a simple but interesting twist on a classic sandwich that probably has the most variations than any other dish to date. Without further ado, my homage to National Grilled Cheese Day, Grilled Goat Cheese w/Sun Dried Tomato and Smoked Apple and Chardonnay Chicken Sausage. Enjoy!
